Welcome to the New Zealand Antique and Historical Arms Association Inc.
The NZAHAA was established in 1959. Started by a group of keen firearms collectors and shooters with the aim of bringing together those with an interest in preserving, collecting, shooting and researching firearms.
Since then, the organisation has gone from strength to strength and today we are the premier collector's organisation with a growing membership encompassing everything from antique firearms, edged weapons, cannons, bayonets, sporting rifles from all eras, militaria and medals and military weapons of all types.
Our organisation is made up from a number of regional branches so that you can find one in your area.
We look forward to welcoming new members into our organisation.
About Us
The NZ Antique and Historical Arms Association is dedicated to the preservation of military and sporting history as told through the firearms, bayonets, edged weapons and militaria that were used by soldiers and sportspeople.
We are a group of collectors that restore and preserve, display and research to ensure our history is alive and not relegated to dusty museum storerooms because it isn't politically correct.
Mostly though we are a good group of people who come together to share knowledge and experience and have a good time displaying firearms and participating in Cannon, black powder muzzle loading and military rifle shooting.
